The rules for using OpenTrib.
By using this site you agree to these terms. They cover the public preview only. Accounts, payments and creator publishing will come with their own terms, which you will be asked to accept first.
Effective 9 October 2026 · Public preview
What the preview is
You can browse the catalogue, read sample books, listen to a sample audiobook and try the cart. The products, creators, communities and prices shown are examples of how OpenTrib will work, not live listings. There are no accounts yet.
Preview checkout
Checkout is a preview. No payment is taken, nothing is bought, and a preview order gives you no rights to any product. Preview orders are saved only in your browser, and clearing your browser data removes them.

Fair use of the site
Do not attack or overload the site, try to get around its security or its rate limits, copy it in bulk with automated tools, impersonate anyone, or use it to break the law. We limit how many requests one address can make to our server, and we may block traffic that looks abusive.
Reporting a security issue
If you find a security weakness, email support@opentrib.com with “Security” in the subject and enough detail for us to reproduce it. Please give us reasonable time to fix it before you tell anyone else.
We will not pursue anyone who tests in good faith, stays within these terms, does not access or change other people’s data, and does not disrupt the service. Automated scanning at volume and denial-of-service testing are not allowed.
No promises during the preview
The preview is provided as it is. Features may change, break or go offline without notice. As far as the law allows, OpenTrib is not responsible for losses from using the preview. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law.
Changes to these terms
We will update this page and its date when the preview changes. The privacy page and cookies page explain what we collect.
